Aubrey Drake Graham, aka Drake, is currently considered one of the most influential musicians in the hip hop/R'n'B genre. The Canadian achieved international fame through his music, but was previously already active in America as an actor in the series Degrassi: The Next Generation. In 2010, Drake released his debut Thank Me Later, which featured high-profile acts such as Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys and Nicki Minaj. Just one year later, Drake released the follow-up Take Care, which won a Grammy. All eight of his studio albums (as of 2025) have reached the top of the charts.
