Jamie Cullum has been on stage for almost twenty years. Born in Essex in 1979, the singer may be the best-selling British jazz musician of all time, but he feels at home in every genre, as he proves time and again. Jamie Cullum can play at a wide variety of festivals and perform together with musicians of different styles. Jamie Cullum is also always keen to experiment with his shows and songs, combining jazz, rock, pop and soul like no other. Following the release of his debut album ‘Heard It All Before’ in 1999, which is now a coveted collector's item, the Brit has released seven more albums and sold more than ten million records.
Jamie Cullum has already won a Grammy, two Golden Globes and three Brit Awards. The artist is also known for his film music, for example for films by Clint Eastwood and Michael Caine. But music alone is not enough for the multi-talented artist: Jamie Cullum not only hosts his weekly ‘The Jazz Show with Jamie Cullum’ on BBC 2, but is also a passionate amateur photographer, author, judge for the ‘Mercury Music Prize’ and ambassador for various charities.
