Are U2 coming back to Germany and Europe in 2025 after their residency at Sphere in Las Vegas?

Speculation about a new U2 album and an accompanying tour in 2025 is gathering pace - also after band member Adam Clayton made some hints in this regard. Rumour has it that the band members have already been instructed to keep the summer of 2025 free for these plans.

The band around frontman Bono is number 22 on the list of the 100 greatest musicians of all time. U2 have sold over 170 million records worldwide to date and are undoubtedly one of the most important bands in rock history. In 2023, U2 were the first band to perform at the Sphere in Las Vegas. During their residency, which lasted until 2024, a total of 40 U2 concerts were scheduled. Now that this is over, a tour announcement could be imminent. Bono (Paul David Hewson), guitarist The Edge (David Howell Evans), bassist Adam Clayton and drummer Larry Mullen junior last visited Europe in 2017 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their iconic album The Joshua Tree.
